Actuarial Senior Analyst, GFAST
We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our GFAST team at MBPS Actuarial Function. Established in 2012, the team has become an actuarial center of excellence, with over 200 staff and growing, specializing in Valuation, Liability and Asset Modelling, Experience Analytics, Pricing, and more.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and support Python code, EnterpriseLink scripts, and/or AXIS Dataset Formulas for the global actuarial community.
- Debug and resolve issues in team-owned processes during the quarterly production cycle, and communicate the results to stakeholders.
- Manage and implement technology-driven projects aimed at monitoring and reducing costs, enhancing efficiency, and improving quality of life within the Actuarial Compute Environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
- Meaningful progress towards Associate designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP).
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, PowerBI, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, Python, or similar programs.
- Experience in GitHub and programming architecture to create clean, maintainable, and efficient scripts is preferred.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information, results, and recommendations to various levels across the organization.
- Strong ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, for self and others.
- Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City).
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite).
