Role

Trade Support Engineer in a dynamic FinTech environment. You will automate processes, maintain and monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trade execution, connectivity, and performance, and handle incidents to ensure stability and efficiency. This role offers opportunities for technical growth and collaboration with a team focused on innovation and continuous improvement of the trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strive to automate all facets of IT operations as part of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with IT teams (Development, Data, Research) to improve IT operations
  • Configure and maintain application services using automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure stability and support of in-scope applications and infrastructure; perform BAU requests and maintain a run book of operational processes
  • Maintain and improve monitoring of the platform; own monitoring tools/dashboards (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Handle incidents/outages affecting application services and participate in problem management
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of technical support experience in the financial industry, specifically Trade support or Securities Settlements
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, SQL)
  • Fundamental UNIX/Linux knowledge and strong command line skills
  • Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ICINGA, etc.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
