About this role… The Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks: Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns for Individuals, Sole Traders, Companies, Partnerships, and Trusts Preparation of BAS & IAS Statements Reconciling internal workpapers and accounting files via Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, etc Attending to client queries, resolving taxation matters Preparing advices on superannuation, Land tax, Capital Gains Tax, Fringe benefits tax Assisting in year end tax planning Providing ad-hoc support to Senior Accountants & Managers Qualifications / Skills: One to Two Years' Experience within Professional Practice Experience across MYOB (AccountRight & MYOB Essentials), Xero, and QuickBooks software A degree of technical knowledge & understanding of tax requirements Good interpersonal & time management skills A strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) A willingness to learn, ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment What's in it for you?
