Job Description : Oversees and manages supply planning, sourcing, procurement re-stocking/refill, inventory management, quality assurance, distribution, and storage in our supply chain for a seamless flow and to ensure resource requirements are satisfied. Responsibilities Develops and implements strategies, manages supplier relationships, optimizes processes, and analyzes performance metrics. Consolidates the demands per SKU and facilitates the sign‑off process. Creates delivery forecasts based on the build timing of the Territories. Defines safety stock levels per SKU and identifies thresholds and triggering points for PR and PO releases, manufacturing and delivery. Creates warehouse/staging area capacity forecasts based on deliveries and scheduled pullouts. Develops and implements quality control processes and procedures per SKU. Develops and implements risk management processes, including identifying risks, likelihood, impact, mitigation plans, action owners, and communication plans. Defines sourcing and supply chain management policies and processes (e.g., bidding, procurement, logistics & warehouse, supplier relationship management) and category level sourcing strategies and roadmaps for network and IT assets. Analyzes supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Continuously evaluates supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, or improve service quality. Introduces and enforces best practices within the supply chain to enhance overall performance. Identifies potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and reliability. Applies procurement processes for services obtained through external providers, including reviewing proposals, setting supplier selection guidelines, risk assessment through audits and tests, and selecting external providers to maximize long-term ROI. Oversees the end-to-end bidding and procurement process and ensures compliance with policies. Evaluates supplier performance, provides feedback, and ensures agreements are met; resolves issues and enforces policies. Negotiates favorable terms and conditions with suppliers (e.g., payment terms, quality standards, delivery schedules). Reviews contracts and provides inputs based on performance evaluations; ensures vendors comply with terms. Identifies and mitigates risks associated with suppliers (e.g., disruptions, quality issues, financial instability). Approves release of purchase requests based on demand timing and triggers manufacturing and delivery from vendor partners as needed by Territories and operations/restoration work. Ensures timely fulfillment of all assigned material SKU demand orders and monitors aging demands and stocks. Oversees inventory planning, control, and optimization and maintains inventory levels at optimal levels; ensures quality standards through testing and addresses defects with corrective actions. Approves testing results and endorsements for Good Receipts and Payments Review; manages demand, supply, and financials (capex & opex) through S&OP discipline prior to allocation, reallocations, and purchases. Ensures supply chain activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment. Generates and assesses reports on key performance metrics (e.g., inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, operational efficiency) and executes resolutions or mitigations as needed. Collects and analyzes data, develops reports, and identifies cost-saving opportunities; monitors and manages costs within supply chain operations. Ensures supply chain stay within budgetary constraints and contributes to cost efficiency; provides insights and recommendations for decision-making. Sources and partners with third-party logistics providers to manage transportation and warehousing; selects appropriate modes (truck, rail, air, sea) based on cost, speed, and reliability. Manages stock distribution to projects, programs, territories, and delivery to staging areas. Manages allotted space/pallets in the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval; coordinates inventory levels across locations to avoid stockouts or excess. Issues pullout forms based on build timelines; prepares and readies materials for transport; develops efficient routes and schedules for delivery. Develops contingency plans to address potential disruptions; implements environmentally responsible practices in distribution and logistics. Develops return processes and policies for failed testing, unused inventories, excess inventories, usable inventories, repair, and return-to-vendor for SKUs that failed testing. Assesses inventories intended for return from vendor warehouses; makes decisions on disposal, replacement, repair, or buy-back as appropriate.
