They are based in Coppell, Texas, known for taking a truly hands-on approach with the businesses they support. Rather than simply preparing financial reports and leaving owners to interpret the numbers on their own, they remain closely engaged and actively involved. They make it a priority to check in regularly, ensuring that potential issues are spotted early and addressed before they grow into bigger challenges. Their approach gives business owners clarity and confidence when planning for the future. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage monthly bookkeeping for several different clients Record and categorize bank, credit card, and payroll transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Perform monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation reports and supporting schedules Maintain class- and location-based coding where required Make month-end GAAP adjustments Support 3-way trust/IOLTA reconciliations for law firm clients when needed Provide monthly financial statements and cash flow forecasts Perform monthly variance analysis across multiple clients Support audits, tax prep, and process improvements Support preparation of dashboards and KPIs for CFO review Track and report project-level or department-level expenses as defined in client SOW Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and financial strategy Be open to learning and using multiple systems Follow internal SOPs and update documentation when processes change Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP standards, and client-specific regulatory requirements Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and client records REPORTING STRUCTURE This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and works closely with other bookkeepers and senior leadership. No direct reports. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years US bookkeeping experience, preferably in a client-facing or outsourced environment Proficient in QuickBooks Online (certification a plus) Strong understanding of GAAP basics and month-end close processes Experience with Keeper, Bill.com, Clio, or similar tools preferred Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting Experience with Law Firms a Plus Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines at once Strong communication and documentation skills Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset Knowledge of internal controls and confidentiality best practices ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Personal Equipment Reliable, stable and high-speed internet A dedicated, private workspace that is free from distractions, ensuring confidentiality and optimal focus on tasks.
