Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SM Department Store Promodiser / Sales and Product Demonstration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for learning about our furniture products. This role is an excellent opportunity to grow in the furniture industry and engage with customers in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in driving sales by engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the right furniture products.
  • Conduct engaging and informative product demos to showcase the features, benefits, and quality of our furniture offerings.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by creating a positive and welcoming environment, addressing inquiries, and offering expert advice on product selection.
  • Learn and memorize key product details, including materials, dimensions, styles, and features, to confidently assist customers and close sales.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring products are well-stocked and that inventory levels are monitored regularly to support sales and product availability.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to promote new products, sales initiatives, and store promotions.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in Sales: Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
  • Product Demonstration Skills: Ability to effectively demonstrate products and explain their benefits to customers.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Quick Learner: Ability to easily memorize product details and features to deliver accurate and helpful information to customers.
  • Interest in Furniture Industry (Plus): While experience in the furniture industry is not a requirement, a genuine interest in furniture and design is a plus.
