Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong background in inventory accounting and distribution/retail industry practices.

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of local tax laws and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and inventory costing.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and analysis.

  • Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and track financial performance against targets.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government reporting, and accounting standards.

  • Coordinate with auditors, external consultants, and regulatory agencies.

  • Manage accounting team performance, delegate tasks, and conduct training as needed.

  • Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and operations to ensure proper financial documentation and cost control.

  • Analyze financial data to support business decisions and operational improvements.

  • Recommend financial strategies and process improvements for company growth.
