ABOUT THIS ROLE We are looking for a Senior Accountant with solid US Accounting and Tax experience. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond junior responsibilities and is confident handling end‑to‑end accounting and tax compliance for a diverse range of US clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO Prepare U.S. federal and state individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns under the supervision of senior accountants. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. Record day‑to‑day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Manage all aspects of the General Ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations (bank, credit card, etc.). Process accounts receivable and payable in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare financial reports and work papers by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Communicate regularly with the U.S. accounting team to clarify data, resolve issues, and ensure deliverables are met on time. Ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards, maintaining well‑documented workpapers and support files. Exposure to multi‑state filings or estate & trust tax matters is a plus. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. 3-5 years' US accounting experience. Experience managing SMEs, trusts, and HNW client portfolios. Leads compliance work end‑to‑end with minimal supervision. Reviews work of staff, juniors, and intermediates. Provides tax planning and handles IRS/state correspondence.
