Overview The nurse for Wright Park Hotel is responsible for assisting the Safety, Security and Transportation Manager in developing and promoting health and safety programs. Responsibilities Medical Assistance: Provide medical assistance and emergency treatment or first aid to employees and guests Administer over-the-counter medication and treatment to employees and guests, as needed Counsel employees relative to their medical concerns or conditions as needed Create a clean and comfortable sick bay area Promptly and efficiently respond to medical emergencies Respond to health and safety queries and complaints of employees and guests and provide appropriate intervention Assist the retainer doctor during his/her tour of hotel duty Health and Safety Establish and maintain health and safety standards of the hotel Conduct regular health checks for employees Assist the Safety, Security and Transportation Manager in developing, promoting, and implementing Disaster Control Program, Fire Prevention Program, Family Planning Program, Family Welfare Program and other health and safety programs Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and practices Implement awareness campaigns relative to promoting personal health maintenance, physical fitness, proper nutritional practices and illness prevention Maintains cleanliness of the clinic Record Keeping Maintain confidentiality of employee and guest medical records Prepare and submit accurate reports to concerned departments and organizations Maintain updated and accurate medical records of employees Document all medical incidents, treatments, and referrals Coordination and Communication Liaise with local hospitals and clinics to arrange for the transfer of patients when necessary Communicate with guests and employees about health concerns, providing guidance and support Act as the point person for pre-employment medical exams, results, and healthcare provider (such as HMO) related matters Act as a custodian of the hotel clinic, including its equipment and supplies Maintain medical supplies and request purchases when needed Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Certified Occupational Health nurse Computer literate Experience in emergency care or occupational health is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
