Role OverviewAbout the Client: The client is a physician-guided, esthetician-perfected medical spa based in Boulder, Colorado. We focus on natural results through evidence-based skincare, laser treatments, and regenerative aesthetics. We\'re a local, service-based business dedicated to providing top-notch services to our community. We\'re looking to expand our marketing efforts and are seeking a Social Media Content Creator/Manager to join our team.
About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Content Creator/Manager to manage and grow our online presence. This role is a direct replacement for our current social media marketing agency, and we are looking for a dedicated individual who can work with us directly to achieve our marketing goals. The ideal candidate will be a creative and data-savvy professional who can not only manage our social media but also help us track our performance. You\'ll work with our brand direction, content pillars, and SEO guidance while taking ownership of execution, consistency, and organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and can take feedback well while continuously improving.
Key Responsibilities- Social Media Management: You\'ll be the primary person in charge of our social media channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and YouTube. Your tasks will include creating, editing, and posting high-quality content.
- Content Creation and Curation: Create visually appealing and engaging content that aligns with our established brand identity, including our specific color palette and overall aesthetic. You\'ll also work with us to plan and outline content ideas.
- Create and schedule 3 Reels/Posts per week and 5 days of Stories.
- Write engaging captions with provided SEO keywords and CTAs.
- Edit Reels for polish and engagement.
- Implementing ManyChat into posts and stories
- Video Content Production: Repurpose existing social media content for other platforms like Pinterest and YouTube. This will include basic video editing for YouTube, such as adding simple graphics or transitions. Apply SEO best practices for YouTube titles, descriptions, and tags.
- We also need an overall YouTube refresh including active links on captions. Goal to get people on our email list and drive traffic to the website.
- Use Notion (or similar tool) to organize content pipelines and feedback loops.
- Schedule approved content in Planoly to post on Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Plan content 1–2 months ahead in the scheduling system.
- Document workflows into SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) with step-by-step written and video guides (e.g., Loom recordings).
- Ensure tasks can be easily replicated by others on the team if ever needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing Google Drive files or light email management.
- Implement ManyChat automations for Instagram posts and lead magnets.
Utilize your knowledge of marketing data to track and analyze the performance of our social media efforts. Your insights will help us refine our strategy and improve our return on investment.
Collaborative StrategyWe\'re looking for a professional who can provide creative input and engage in a professional back-and-forth about content ideas, helping us plan and execute our social media strategy using SEO as a guiding principle.
Qualifications & Skills- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Proficiency in basic video editing.
- Canva: creation, editing, and internal organization of templates. Graphic design for social media and email marketing.
- ManyChat chatbot management.
- Google Drive organization.
- Familiarity with Notion (or similar project management tools).
- Comfort with Planoly scheduling platform (or willing to learn quickly).
- Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple platforms and deadlines.
- Ability to document processes into clear, step-by-step SOPs with written and Loom video guides.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics and data tracking, including familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and UTMs.
- A creative and professional approach to content strategy and planning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A general understanding of the health and wellness, beauty, or medical spa industry is a plus.
