Location: Philippines – Makati Work Schedule: Dayshift – HYBRID (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH) Type of Employment: Contractual (6 month-initial contract, possible absorption/extension depending on performance) Job Summary The Applications Architect is responsible for designing robust, scalable, and high performing application solutions that support the organization’s digital and business transformation goals. This role ensures that application architecture aligns with enterprise strategies, technical standards, and evolving technology trends. The Application Architect works closely with business and technical teams to deliver adaptable, secure, and efficient application systems that meet both current and future business needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree holder Minimum of 7 years in software development and architecture roles , including at least 3 years in an application architect capacity . Experience designing cloud-native applications and using modern architecture styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven, serverless). Familiarity with application architecture modeling tools and enterprise integration patterns. Skills and Competencies Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), RESTful API design, and system integration . Proficient in distributed systems, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and modern application frameworks .
