Accountant Reporting to the Accounting Manager, our Accountants are responsible for the monthly property financial statement close process for approximately 20 self‑storage properties, maintaining internal controls, treasury, and internal reporting. Location This is a hybrid role based at our beautiful Ladera Ranch office. Schedule Monday & Friday: Work From Home Tuesday to Thursday: Office, Ladera Ranch, CA Salary $73,000 annually (based on experience) + annual discretionary bonus up to $5,000. What You’ll Do Produce journal entries, banking and account reconciliations. Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements. Analyze budget and actual results to report variances. Support integration of new acquisitions as needed. Compile a monthly reporting package for each property. Other accounting responsibilities and ad hoc projects as assigned. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or comparable work experience. 1–2 years experience in general Accounting functions. Experience with GAAP financial statements. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and oral & written communication skills. Detail oriented while multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced company. Ability to adapt quickly to change, working effectively in a demanding environment. Love diversity and work well with all personality types. Initiative, looking for areas of improvement and commitment to following through on changes. Works well independently with minimal supervision.
