About the Team LifecycleX is a SaaS‑focused marketing agency that drives nurture, activation, retention, and expansion through lifecycle marketing emails, in‑app messaging, and coordinated touchpoints. Strategy is handled in‑house; you’ll execute cleanly inside modern marketing automation platforms. The Opportunity We’re hiring an execution‑first Marketing Automation Specialist who can build, QA, and ship lifecycle campaigns at a high standard. You’ll work closely with the client lead who sets strategy and priorities; you’ll turn those into well‑built, on‑brand campaigns primarily in marketing automation platforms like HubSpot and Customerio (lead skill), with email building/production as your secondary lane. What You’ll Do Build & launch lifecycle assets in HubSpot/customerio: emails, templates, lists/segments, workflows, triggers, suppressions, and frequency caps. Translate briefs into flows: take a journey outline and implement it cleanly with proper events, branching, and fail‑safes. Design & layout: produce clean, responsive email designs (template‑based or light from‑scratch), on‑brand and accessible. Copy polish: refine provided copy (or AI‑assisted copy) for clarity, tone, and scannability. QA & testing: device/client checks, link checks, variant tests, and pre‑send sign‑off; maintain QA guardrails/SOPs. Reporting hygiene: set up UTMs, dashboards for performance reporting, and annotate results for quick readouts. Asset management: organize templates, modules, and snippets so future campaigns ship faster. Collaboration & cadence: join overlap windows 2x/week for reviews, quick decisions, and unblockers; async the rest. What You’ll Bring (Must‑haves) Marketing Automation proficiency: you can build emails and workflows without hand‑holding (lists, triggers, delays, goal logic, error handling). Email production chops: comfortable with modern template builders; understand responsive layout, alt text, image weights, and deliverability basics. Design sense: eye for hierarchy, spacing, and brand consistency (Figma/Canva familiarity helpful). Lifecycle literacy: knows the difference between welcome, activation, re‑engagement, renewal, and upsell motions; applies the right guardrails. Detail orientation: you naturally catch broken links, wrong segments, or missing UTMs before they go live. Communication: clear updates, asks, and readouts in English; comfortable in short live reviews during overlap windows. Experience with Customer.io and/or similar tools such as ActiveCampaign, Zoho, EngageBay, Braze, Iterable, Mailchimp. Comfort with simple experiments (subject lines, timing, variant sends) and sharing quick takeaways. Light HTML/CSS for email builds.
