Job summary: Review, control and report on the financial status of the individual workstream and the overall programme as per the bank’s standards and workstream governance. Support and coordinate performance/benefits reporting, budgeting and forecast processes. Prepare status reporting for stakeholders and the programme office, including Agile ceremonies as required. Implement governance standards across the programme, track and update the programme metrics, and ensure Clarity is up to date with milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts. Ensure submissions to committees and working groups are of the right quality and timely, and implement the programme closure procedure.

Responsibilities

• Strategy : Deliver, build and maintain data-driven solutions core to Group Operations strategy.

• Business : Provide thought leadership in data science techniques and business applications to unlock the value of SCB’s data sets and external information. Continually challenge assumptions around new data sources, potential analytics partners, tools, talent and infrastructure. Engage with internal clients to improve delivery of analytic projects.

• Processes : Explore leading methodologies and best practices and import successful methodologies from international markets.

• Risk Management : Prepare, manage and maintain key programme artefacts such as epics on JIRA, risks and issues, dependency mapping, budget and forecast, programme plan and initiative plans.

• Governance : Support and ensure the implementation of programme delivery in line with the Bank’s control and governance framework. Ensure all project deliverables, artefacts and approvals are stored in a structured format for future recovery and audit.

• Regulatory & Business Conduct : Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Embed the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Key Stakeholders : Business Analysts, Business Partners, COO Business, ITO, CDO, internal staff, clients and 3rd parties.

• Other Responsibilities : Embed the Group’s brand and values; perform other responsibilities as assigned; work with senior management to develop and refine the bank's AI strategy; identify and prioritise AI use cases with significant business value; develop business cases for AI projects including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment and ROI estimation.

Qualifications

• Education Certification in PMP / Certified Scrum Master / Certified Product Owner is a plus.
• Languages: English.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

• Minimum of 5 years of PMO experience in large, complex, multi-geography projects.
• Experience in agile methodologies.
• Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility to accomplish objectives.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Strong knowledge of Clarity & NWOW standards; strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
