Duties & Responsibilities

Front-End Development

  • Collaborate with Graphic / Figma designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.

Back-End Development

  • Build and maintain server-side logic using programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, or
  • Develop and manage databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
  • Implement APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance website functionality.

Content Management

  • Customize and manage content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.
  • Create, edit, and publish website content, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
  • Must have experience with Elementor and building templates using static vs dynamic fields.

Website Optimization

  • Optimize website performance, including page load speed and overall user experience.
  • Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix technical issues.
  • Implement SEO best practices, such as proper meta tags, ALTs, structured data, and clean code.
  • Work closely with marketing, design, and other teams to align web development efforts with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.

Testing and Maintenance

  • Monitor website uptime, security, and performance, and address issues promptly.
  • Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure they remain secure and up to date.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization, SEO principles, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., VS Code, Webpack).
  • Knowledge of web security best practices and data protection standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for web development and a desire to stay up to date with industry trends and technologies.
