The Junior FP&A Analyst plays a key support role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with particular focus on operating expenses. The role is responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic planning to help drive informed business decisions.

The role is responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic planning to help drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Gather and analyze financial and operational data to support management reporting
  • Assist in variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and identify key business drivers
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities
  • Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial models and reports
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other business units for cross-functional analysis
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A (internships included)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
  • CPA licensure required
  • Experience in a shared services or multinational company environment
  • Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Interest in data analytics and process improvement
