Overview Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DWDM Engineer @ NOC Support role to join our Network Operations team in the Manila - Philippines. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining DWDM networks, with a strong focus on DWDM devices and Technology. Responsibilities Proactively monitor and manage DWDM network infrastructure from the NOC. Perform fault isolation, root cause analysis, and restoration of services on Ciena-based DWDM systems. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities on DWDM equipment. Handle L1/L2 troubleshooting and escalate issues to higher-level teams/vendors when required. Generate and analyze performance reports for network optimization. Coordinate with field engineers, vendors, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution. Ensure compliance with SLAs, operational processes, and security standards. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, configurations, and network changes. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2–4 years of experience in Field/On site/NOC operations with DWDM technologies. Added advantage: Knowledge on Ciena Devices (6500 & 5430) or any other OEM’s (Huawei, Infinera, Nokia, ECI or Tejas). Strong understanding of optical transport technologies (DWDM/OTN/SONET/SDH). Good knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Layer 2/3 networking is an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) & Good in Microsoft excel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
