IT End-User Computing Engineer Hidden Gems Talent is looking for an experienced IT End-User Computing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. Job Overview The role is responsible for delivering mission‑critical end‑user computing services, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and customer satisfaction. The engineer will manage incident and request lifecycles, maintain hardware and software, deploy and support endpoints, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Manage the lifecycle of all service‑raised incidents and requests, adhering to ticket SLAs and maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain computer hardware and software, including vendor liaison for part replacement. Handle IT equipment deployment, setup, retrieval, and storage, and assist with logistics arrangements with third‑party logistics providers/vendors. Perform installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently, escalating only when absolutely necessary. Provide timely and professional support to customers, minimizing disruption to business operations. Collaborate on projects focused on continuous improvement and deliver work effectively to meet targets and deadlines. Ensure all activities and decision‑making processes comply with established IT security policies and procedures. Qualifications 2–3 years of experience providing end‑user computing support. Expertise in supporting Windows and Mac operating systems; familiarity with Linux OS is an advantage. Experience with enterprise applications such as MS365, Google Workspace, endpoint security tools (BitDefender, CrowdStrike), collaboration tools (Slack, Teams, Zoom), and file‑sharing services (GDrive, DropBox, OneDrive). Familiarity with Mobile Device Management tools and basic scripting is an advantage. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask. Willingness to upskill, learn, and adapt to new technologies. Basic understanding of the ITIL framework with a willingness to learn and apply best practices. Exceptional customer service, a results‑oriented mindset, and the ability to excel in a dynamic startup environment. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to effectively interact with international teams, vendors, and clients. Location & Schedule Must be based within Metro Manila, Philippines. Amenable to report on‑site as required for equipment setup, storage, or critical issue troubleshooting. Willing to work on a shifting schedule (24/5 operations, Monday to Friday).
