Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of swine production, including breeding, farrowing, nursery, and finishing.
  • Implement and monitor animal health programs, including vaccinations and treatments.
  • Manage and supervise farm personnel, including assigning tasks and providing training.
  • Maintain farm facilities and equipment, ensuring proper operation and repairs.
  • Monitor and control farm budgets and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, health, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with veterinarians, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports on farm performance.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
  • With license as veterinarian
  • Proven experience in swine farm management
  • Strong knowledge of swine production practices and animal husbandry
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of biosecurity and food safety regulations
