Main duties/responsibilities The primary purpose of this role is to provide mapping/GIS support to all aspects of the client’s Transactions and Valuation teams, including the production of high-quality maps. For the majority, these high-quality maps will form part of marketing collateral for selling of agribusiness properties throughout Australia. Key Responsibilities Utilise MapInfo Professional and Google Earth software to set-up, digitise, and export spatial data in preparation for map creation and analysis. Utilise Adobe Illustrator to create and export high fidelity maps to be used as part of Information Memorandums, submissions, brochures, and advertisement. Collect and organise information to create and maintain spatial databases. Perform research, offer educated opinions based on your report, survey land to map for accurate three dimensional information and assist with project management and technical writing. Update relevant documentation with direction. Change, update, and revise existing maps with new information or corrections. Assist team members with any GIS related queries. Experience Experience using Adobe Illustrator, MapInfo Professional and Google Earth Experience using GIS software such as MapInfo Professional, QGIS, or ArcGIS Desktop & Online Experience using Avenza’s MAPublisher plugin for Adobe Illustrator Preferred that the candidate has past work experience in GIS, property, spatial analysis or related fields Required Knowledge & Skills Strong analytical mind and ability to learn and develop new GIS and mapping skills A broad understanding of key agribusiness property markets across Australia Knowledge of cartographic principles and techniques Understanding of GIS administrative practices and coordinate systems, and experience in GIS data creation Knowledge of demographic and spatial data sources across Australia and ability to calibrate and cross-check data High degree of computer literacy Clear verbal and written communication, logical and creative thinking Ability to meet project deadlines and prioritise appropriately Attention to detail and dedication to quality results Ability to work independently or as part of a team Work Schedule (Dayshift) Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time) Work Setup (WFH) Permanent Homebased Equipment provided by the company Stable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps download and upload By clicking on the "I'm Interested" button I hereby allow Outsourced Quality Assured Services, Inc.
