Overview

Location: Angeles City, PH. Employment type: Full-Time. MCI is a fast-growing tech-enabled business services company delivering CX, BPO, and XaaS solutions across industries. Our contact centers combine on-site and remote agents to enhance customer journeys, improve scalability, and reduce costs. We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor with a CPA designation to lead the finance department, oversee day-to-day financial activities, and supervise the finance team. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, including financial analysts, accountants, and clerical staff.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to support professional development.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads to set targets and allocations; monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks; provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, and enhance reporting accuracy; implement best practices in financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls; monitor adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software; collaborate with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot and enhance functionality.
  • Additional duties as required by the business needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within a finance team.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
  • Willing to submit to up to a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprint; background results may affect job offers.
