Overview As a Guest Service Agent, you are the front‑line ambassador of our establishment, responsible for ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. You will handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests whenever possible, and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently. Your role involves providing an exceptional level of service, enhancing guest satisfaction through a cheerful and efficient check‑in/check‑out process, and fulfilling guest requests with accuracy and a smile. You will become a valued resource to our guests, providing them with pertinent information about amenities and local attractions, and ensuring that every aspect of their stay meets or exceeds their expectations. This position requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to contribute to a team‑oriented environment where exceptional customer service is a priority. Responsibilities Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude. Efficiently handle check‑in and check‑out processes for all hotel guests. Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and nearby attractions. Resolve guest issues and special requests promptly and courteously. Assist with reservations, modifications, and cancellations of bookings as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold the hotel’s standards. Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance on guest needs. Handle guest payments, process refunds, and manage cash drawers accurately. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to improve skills. Monitor lobby activity, reporting any unusual incidents to management. Provide directions and information regarding local attractions and activities. Uphold the hotel's values and culture in all interactions with guests and staff. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and composed attitude. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and reservation systems. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for handling guest details.
