Junior Software Engineer

We’re looking for a fullstack software engineer who is building confidence in backend development and is ready to take on real-world challenges. This role is ideal for someone who has foundational experience in backend technologies and is eager to grow by contributing to both backend and frontend tasks. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values clarity, maintainability, and practical solutions. We work together to build systems that are reliable, easy to understand, and aligned with user needs.**Responsibilities*** Assist in designing and developing backend services using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and MongoDB.* Build and maintain RESTful APIs that support frontend applications and internal tools.* Contribute to frontend development using ReactJS and TypeScript when needed.* Translate technical requirements into working code with support from senior engineers.* Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions.* Collaborate with QA engineers to test and debug features.* Help improve deployment and monitoring processes.* Integrate basic AI capabilities into backend workflows using AWS services.* Work with teammates to understand how AI tools can enhance backend functionality.* Document technical decisions and share learnings with the team.**Required Skills & Experience*** 1–3 years of experience in software development, ideally with exposure to backend systems.* Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and MongoDB.* Basic experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.* Exposure to frontend technologies like ReactJS, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.* Understanding of Git and version control workflows.* Introductory experience using AWS AI services or integrating third-party AI APIs.* Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with others.**Desired Skills & Experience*** Experience with Docker and basic AWS infrastructure.* Familiarity with AWS AI/ML lifecycle tools.* Understanding of performance optimization and basic system design.* Exposure to CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.* Interest in learning how AI can be applied to backend workflows and user-facing features.Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
