What the Role Entails

The following are detailed performance objectives for the Tax Associate. When measuring overall aptitude and cultural fit, all candidates will be benchmarked using these standards.

Performance Objectives:

  • Understand and execute preparation of partnership, S-Corporation, and personal tax returns
  • Identify outstanding items and manage information collection process by communicating with clients via email and phone
  • Research and respond to notices from tax authorities
Qualifications
  • Ability to take extreme ownership of assigned projects.
  • Self-motivated and always looking to improve.
  • 1-2 years of tax preparation experience
  • Familiarity with S-Corp returns
  • Great internal and external communication skills
