We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead who can balance hands-on testing with team leadership . This role involves leading and mentoring a QA team while actively participating in the planning, design, and execution of manual and automated tests. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to guide others in maintaining quality standards throughout the development cycle. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of QA, providing guidance, feedback, and training. Actively participate in test planning, test case creation, and execution of manual and automated tests. Develop, maintain, and improve test frameworks and automation pipelines. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define quality goals and ensure timely delivery. Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work with teams to resolve issues efficiently. Establish and enforce QA best practices, ensuring consistency and accuracy in testing processes. Monitor and assess the team’s performance, helping them grow technically and professionally. Stay updated on the latest QA tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously enhance quality processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Strong experience in both manual and automated testing. Proficiency with testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or PyTest. Experience in API testing, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect tracking systems. Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
