Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Analyst/Project Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and lead HR systems-related projects, from initial planning through implementation. This role will also involve expanding the scope of these systems post-implementation to ensure they continue to meet business needs. The HR Business Analyst/Project Lead will work closely with HR and IT departments and other stakeholders to improve processes and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead HR systems-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Develop comprehensive project plans that cover all project aspects, including scheduling, resources, risks, and quality control. Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and external vendors to deliver project goals. Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training initiatives. Business Analysis: Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Evaluate and recommend HR technology solutions that align with company goals. Perform gap analysis and system/process mapping. System Development and Implementation: Define and document business scenarios, user stories, and functional requirements. Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios to validate system functionality and usability. Ensure that system developments align with business needs and compliance requirements. Develop and document system procedures, guides, and workflows. Post-Implementation Support and Enhancement: Monitor the performance and effectiveness of HR systems post-implementation. Identify and implement system improvements and upgrades based on user feedback and evolving business needs. Extend the scope of HR systems to enhance functionality and process efficiency. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project transparency and alignment with business objectives. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and status updates with stakeholders. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and policies. Qualifications: Highly knowledgeable in SDLC frameworks with a solid grasp of project management using waterfall and agile methodologies, respectively 5+ years of experience in technology platforms projected, especially HR Systems Experience in software evaluation projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of HR processes and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS); working knowledge on Workday HCM is a plus Proven experience leading cross-functional projects with successful outcomes. Skilled in business process review and analysis, business requirements/ user stories documentation and familiar with conduct of user acceptance testing Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines.
