Overview Nephrology Nurse with 1 year of experience as a Dialysis Staff wanted for full-time role. Must be a Registered Nurse who can work onsite in Makati and complete requirements. The position provides care to patients with disorders related to the brain and nervous system, including assessment, treatment administration, monitoring, and education for patients and families. Responsibilities include managing neurological emergencies, maintaining a safe patient environment, and documenting patient progress to support comprehensive care for conditions such as stroke, brain injuries, or epilepsy. Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Conduct detailed physical and neurological assessments to identify and track changes in a patient's condition. Treatment Implementation: Administer medications, implement treatment plans, and manage side effects to achieve clinical goals. Monitoring: Monitor neurological activity and vital signs to recognize and respond to changes in status promptly. Emergency Management: Recognize and respond to neurological emergencies such as stroke or seizures with rapid intervention. Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and families on conditions, rehabilitation exercises, and care plans. Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records of assessments, interventions, and responses. Collaboration: Work with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, plan treatment, and assist with procedures. Environmental Safety: Implement safety measures to create a secure environment for patients with mobility issues. Preventive Care: Implement measures to prevent complications common in neurological patients (e.g., pressure ulcers, DVT, pneumonia).
