The Ruby on Rails Developer will be designing, developing, and testing software applications. Additionally, they will maintain existing codebases, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. We expect good communication skills in English, positive attitude, along with a high level of commitment and responsibility, to be agile and dedicated to high quality work. Responsibilities: Design, code, test, and debug software applications using Ruby on Rails and React Contribute to all phases of the life-cycle, including any scrum/agile ceremonies, and add value to the team Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems Collaborate with the wider team Maintain and enhance existing software platform(s) as needed Education: BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related subject or equivalent experience Experiences: Minimum 3 years of experience as Software Developer working on platforms Of which is at least 2 years' experience in Ruby on Rails development Knowledge/Skills Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns Experience with API development and integration Experience with database management systems, SQL Server Basic Unix knowledge Basic Docker knowledge Git knowledge Understanding of cloud services like Azure or AWS is a plus Experience in React is a plus Very good English language (both spoken and written) Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team Problem solving attitude and a positive mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr
