Position Summary: As a Costing Associate, you will play a crucial role in our product development and costing processes. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Design, Production, and Sourcing, to ensure accurate cost analysis, pricing negotiation, and cost sheet preparation. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to learn and grow with us. Previous apparel costing experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marking/grading teams to create yields.
- Review all raw materials and ensure their accurate entry into the system.
- Create a Bill of Materials (BOM) for costing purposes.
- Release RFQ's to factories to obtain pricing.
- Negotiate prices with factory suppliers.
- Collaborate with designers and technical design teams to address pricing challenges.
- Prepare cost sheets and submit them to the Division Heads for review.
- Make necessary revisions to cost sheets and seek approval.
- Negotiate quotes from factories for FOB packages.
- Attend production meetings to stay updated on project status.
- Update cost sheets and inform factories of significant changes.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in costing (apparel preferred)
- College degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to speak and write English.
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:
- College graduate of any course or equivalent
- Experience as Store Supervisor in Apparel or related industry for at least 1 year
- Ability to inspire and lead a team, proactive sales attitude and customer focus with strong problem-solving skills
