Sales Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Promotion
- Promotes and sells Company products to customers in the assigned area, achieving the target sales quota within the prescribed marginal income (MI).
- Coordinates with the plant and logistics to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Engages in active relationship-building with key industry influencers to strengthen brand loyalty and increase market penetration.
Strategy and Forecasting:
- Collaborates with the Sales Manager/Supervisor to prepare and implement sales strategies and budgets.
- Prepares and submits monthly sales and collection forecasts.
Customer Management and Support:
- Discusses ongoing transactions and resolves collection issues with the immediate superior.
- Leads the resolution of customer complaints by coordinating with Technical Services and/or Logistics as necessary.
- Prepares and submits quotations based on customers’ requirements, ensuring compliance with pricing guidelines.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitors and reports on competitor activities and market trends.
- Maintains detailed records of sales activities, including sales calls, customer interactions, and market insights.
Administrative Functions:
- Ensures expenses are maintained within reasonable limits, seeking approval for any expenses above PHP 5,000.
- Adheres to company safety procedures and policies at all times.
Miscellaneous:
- Performs other sales-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering or any Engineering course.
- At least one (1) year of significant experience in sales engineering, preferably in a manufacturing firm of electrical wire and cable products or related sales functions.
