Job Title: Network Security Engineer II / Linux System Administrator
Location: Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Work Setup & Shift: Onsite | Shifting
Salary Range: 60,000 – 100,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Position Overview
We are looking for a Network Security Engineer II / Linux System Administrator to join our dynamic technical support team. This role involves providing enterprise-level support to global clients, troubleshooting complex network and system issues, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and triage incoming support cases through a shared queue.
Prioritize and resolve quick-win issues to meet response and resolution SLAs.
Identify and escalate Severity 1 cases following established escalation protocols.
Maintain detailed and structured documentation for all assigned cases.
Participate in on-call or weekend support rotations as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.
Reproduce customer issues in lab environments and collaborate with R&D teams to provide detailed findings and resolutions.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Proven enterprise customer support experience, handling global clients (not internal IT support).
Previous employment with or support for technology vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Sophos, etc.).
Hands-on experience with network and security devices and a solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in Linux systems administration.
Experience working in global support environments with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure.
