2.1Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of products and structures, such as ship components, pipes, boilers, applying knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, materials, and equipment, and fabrication requirements.2.2Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations required.2.3Requisitions supplies, such as weld rods, gas, flux, and fixtures.2.4Inspects work or confers with QA to maintain specified standards and quality.2.5Trains workers in operation of equipment.2.6Coordinates with other trade shop to accomplish work orders.2.7Plan its work simultaneously to finish job order in due time.2.8Supervise brazing and soldering operations, fitting and assembly of structural frames.2.9Responsible for the supervision for time keeping of its subordinates and their work records.2.10Direct and supervise its subordinate at Subic Docks work zone for safety.2.11Make progress report to analyze the work status.2.12Perform other related duties and responsibilities assigned.
