US Accountants w experience in BPOWork Set Up: Full Onsite Work Arrangement: Nightshift | Monday - Friday Location: BGCThe staff accountant is responsible for all month-end journal entries, reconciliations, compiling composite reports, financial statements, and income/expense account analysis. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Compiles composite reports, financial statements, and income/expense account analyses from diverse sources as required by management or government agencies.Prepares and analyzes balance sheet reconciliations. Identifies and resolves any issues in consultation with the Accounting Manager.Prepares and analyzes journal entries to ensure accurate and complete recording of entity transactions, including payroll accruals, rent schedule, tax entries, and revenue recognition.Prepares and analyzes fixed asset transactional data used to maintain the fixed asset schedule.Prepares and analyzes intercompany balances, ensuring they are properly documented and in balance with the affiliated entity.Prepares and analyzes all month-end and quarter-end corporate consolidation files along with supporting documentation, to be reviewed with the Accounting Manager prior to submissionPrepares and analyzes audit/tax schedules required by internal or independent auditors.Works closely with Accounts Payable to ensure accuracy of invoice coding and account for monthly accruals.Assist with special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager.Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the successful operations of the Company. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fieldTwo years of producing financials, reconciliations, and general ledger entriesStrong understanding of GAAP accountingProficiency in using Microsoft ExcelPreferably with experience in using Sage Intacct
