The Global Talent Management department at Vestas is interested in developing the skills and careers of our employees worldwide. Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for assessing business talent needs and developing strategies to address them. Functioning as the primary point of contact for the business leaders and HR Business Partners on ongoing global Talent Management initiatives.
  2. To know the identified talents and their development steps, you will provide guidance and facilitation in key talent management initiatives like people reviews, talent reviews, performance management, talent development, and succession.
  3. Working closely with the key stakeholders to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pools and translate that data into insights through data analysis that encourages deliberate Talent Management action plans at the appropriate levels.
  4. Enabling the movement of critical people across functions and regions.
  5. Acting as a career coach and development advisor for our People and focusing on developing and sourcing appropriate career developments.
  6. Facilitating talent brokering meetings with leaders in close collaboration with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to enable the internal mobility of people.
  7. Design and develop global talent initiatives tailored for local implementation to ensure alignment with regional needs.
  8. Manage and guide initiatives that promote DEIB throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Several years of experience in talent partnering, recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR roles.
  3. Strategic Talent Assessment and Strategy Development
    • Ability to assess business talent needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs.
    • Adequate analytical skills to evaluate talent requirements and develop effective strategies.
  4. Primary Point of Contact for Talent Management
    • Adept at communicating and building relationships to work as the main contact for business leaders and HR Business Partners.
    • Proficiency in managing ongoing global Talent Management initiatives.
  5. Talent Management Knowledge and Facilitation
    • In-depth knowledge of talent management processes, including people review, talent reviews, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
    • Facilitation skills to guide discussions and manage talent management initiatives.
  6. Data Analysis and Insight Generation
    • Proficiency in collecting and coordinating aggregate data for talent pools.
    • Ability to turn data into actionable insights that support talent management plans.
  7. Cross-Functional and Regional Talent Movement
    • Skills in enabling the movement of critical people across functions and regions to meet business needs.
    • Understanding of global mobility and Workforce planning.
  8. Career Coaching and Development Advisory
    • Acting as a career coach and development advisor, focusing on sourcing and developing appropriate career paths for employees.
    • Ability to provide personalized career guidance and support.
  9. Facilitating Talent Brokering and Internal Mobility
    • Proficiency in facilitating talent brokering meetings with leaders, in collaboration with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition.
    • Skills to enable internal mobility and optimize talent placement.
  10. Design and Implementation of Global Talent Initiatives
    • Creativity in designing Global Talent Initiatives tailored for local implementation.
    • Ability to ensure alignment with regional needs and organizational goals.
  11. Promoting DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging)
    • Determined effort to promote DEIB across the organization.
    • Skills to manage and support initiatives that encourage an inclusive and equitable work environment.
