The Junior Accountant is responsible for providing day-to-day accounting support to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role assists in maintaining books of accounts, monitoring transactions, and supporting financial operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Records

Assist in recording daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and journal entries
Maintain accurate and updated general ledger records
Prepare and reconcile bank statements and petty cash reports
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Accounts Payable & Receivable

Assist in processing supplier invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements
Monitor accounts receivable and support collection follow-ups
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
Reporting & Compliance

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and summaries
Support compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls
Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents
Inventory & Cost Monitoring (Restaurant Operations)

Assist in monitoring inventory-related transactions and cost reports
Coordinate with operations and purchasing teams for inventory reconciliation
Support cost control and variance analysis initiatives
