Job Requirements:Understand the brief and design requirements of clients / team leads / stakeholdersEnsure quality of output based on standards of excellenceProof-to-edit documents against specific amends, direction and QA checklistCapture all glaring errors in the documents, from layout and formatting, to hyperlinks, file naming conventions and othersCollaborate with graphic designers and provide guidance to maintain quality of outputWork according to established production flow and process toolsTake on diverse types of document projects for QAManage time and workload to accommodate volume of QA work for quick turnaroundWork very well with QA team and take on extra work when necessaryPreferred Qualifications:Degree/diploma in Communication Arts / Journalism / Multimedia Arts or any relevant discipline5-7 years of experience as a regular or freelance proofreader / editor / quality analyst in a Publishing / Print Media company / similarStrong command of the English languageExcellent editorial / proofreading / proof-to-edit skills for multi-page print materialsKnowledge of design and layout principlesSuperb attention to detailProficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work with Adobe InDesign is a plusBackground in pre-press production is a plusDemonstrate sound and appropriate editorial judgementStickler for day-to-day deadlinesVery flexible in doing quality check on diverse editorial projectsExperience working in a corporate environment is a plusComfortable to work on North America hoursCan start by JuneMust be residing within NCR
