Summary of Role:

The marketing & communications team is responsible for telling the Crawford story across all media. As we go to market, we must help audiences connect the dots between each of our brands to build brand equity and consistency in how all of our divisions tell our brand story. This story must be equally reinforced internally so that we have consistency in messaging.

Reporting to the Sr. Art Director, the graphic designer is responsible for translating and executing on marketing and communications objectives through key visual and verbal messaging concepts. The role contributes to marketing strategies to evolve the Crawford brand strategy, brand position and brand story through execution of visual design across varied media. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Graphic Designer with a portfolio that reflects his/her expertise in print as well as digital. This person should also have basic video editing skills.

The employee will work with members of the marketing and communications department, sales, operations and others to ensure continuity in the company's marketing messages and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce compelling and purpose-driven stories about solutions and offerings through PowerPoint presentations.
  • Conceptualize and design visually stunning and impactful sales presentations that align with Broadspire's brand identity.
  • Utilize creative software tools to bring ideas to life, incorporating multimedia elements for an engaging presentation experience.
  • Serve as lead designer on a wide range of projects
  • Work closely with marketing and creative team to produce on-brand designs that meet the required goals.
  • Supports the creative process from concept to completion including execution, pre-press and printing.
  • Design web-ready graphics for social media, web banners, and email communications.
  • Design visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and templates to support sales and senior leadership
  • Video editing and motion graphic design
  • Prepare final print-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing
  • Ensures accurate representation of company brand guidelines
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual design, advertising, marketing, communications or a related field or equivalent work experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Presentation Design Specialist or similar role.
  • Advanced skill in designing and building templates in MS-Word and MS-Power Point.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work in presentation design.
  • Strong conceptual thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with a high proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Ensure design quality that allows a consistent brand experience across all deliverables
  • Ability to manage projects from conception to production
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines, and able to consistently deliver high-quality design
  • Understanding of UX design principles, HTML & CSS
  • An understanding of the latest trends, to ensure creative work remains forward thinking
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organization abilities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Videography and motion graphics experience is a plus
  • Proficient in English

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in creative design
  • Advertising agency experience is a plus

Decision Making/Interaction:

  • Works closely with art director, creative director and participates within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Partners with department managers in creating a community of design excellence and creative innovation across platforms
