Job description-Undertake the regular ordering of medical and non-medical consumables ensuring stock available to meet demand-Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system-Ensure competent execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works-Schedule store visits and conduct competitor survey-Coordinate with supplier to ensure on time delivery-Order and procure medical and non-medical special and capital items as directed-Oversee and train any assisting in purchasing-In all purchasing activities create specifications, obtains quotes, negotiate price, place purchase orders, expedite delivery and problem solve , keep records and track all cost-Liaise with the suppliers and department supervisors to ensure effective and correct actions on order requests-Investigate and problems solve outstanding purchasing issues and problems.
