Core Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
Financial Reporting:
Preparing and analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), reports, and budgets.
Tax Preparation and Compliance:
Ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Auditing:
Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits to verify financial accuracy and identify potential risks.
Financial Analysis:
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
Reconciliations:
Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assisting with the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulations.
Communication:
Communicating financial information to stakeholders, both internal and external.
