You will be part of the Legal, Compliance & Quality Department and will be reporting directly to the Legal, Compliance & Quality Director.

The position
As a Legal and Compliance Counsel at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  1. Provide legal advice and strategic counsel within your area of expertise to relevant areas and organizational levels;
  2. Review various legal documents including contracts, letters of agreement, pleadings, and other documents related to trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters;
  3. Represent the organisation in complex, controversial, significant, or specialised legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities;
  4. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks, including risk reporting and general ethical and compliance standards;
  5. Propose solutions to problems and concerns as well as improvements.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor graduate and a member of the Philippine Bar;
  2. Must have at least 5 years' experience in a law firm or relevant company with at least 2 years' experience in compliance matters;
  3. Can collaborate effectively with stakeholders and maintains a patient-centric approach;
  4. Demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional growth through continuous learning, curiosity, and open-mindedness, seeking inspiration from various sources;
  5. Able to make informed decisions based on quality, ethics, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, while ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
