Location: BGC, Taguig Work setup: Full onsite Schedule: Night shift | Monday to Friday Role Overview This position is responsible for supporting the accounting function through the preparation of journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and detailed analyses of income and expense accounts, while ensuring compliances with US GAAP. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the month-end close and reporting process. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger entries, and account reconciliationsMust have background in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and preferably with Sage Intacct.Excellent written and verbal communication skills Roles & Responsibilities Compile financial statements, composite reports, and income/expense account analyses from various internal and external sources as needed by management or regulatory bodiesPrepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues to the Accounting Manager for resolutionRecord and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting, including payroll accruals, rent schedules, tax adjustments, and revenue entriesSupport the fixed asset management process by preparing and analyzing relevant transactional dataReconcile intercompany accounts and ensure alignment and proper documentation with affiliated entitiesAssist with the preparation and review of month-end and quarter-end consolidation files and supporting schedules for review by the Accounting ManagerPrepare audit and tax-related documentation for internal and external auditorsCollaborate with the Accounts Payable team to verify proper invoice coding and ensure timely recording of accrualsParticipate in special projects and initiatives as directed by the Accounting ManagerPerform other duties as needed to support the finance department and business operations Benefits: Competitive salaryAdditional allowances and benefits
