About the Role:
The Business Intelligence Officer is responsible for turning complex data into clear, useful insights that support smart business decisions. This role helps the company improve performance, increase efficiency, and support long-term growth by making data easy to understand and use.

The position combines strong technical skills with a good understanding of the business. It involves working closely with different teams to make sure data is being used effectively to support company goals. The Business Intelligence Officer reports directly to the Training and Quality Manager and also works closely with the Head of Service Delivery to ensure that all efforts align with the company’s overall strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute a business intelligence strategy that supports company goals
● Set data standards, reporting rules, and quality checks while ensuring data privacy and security compliance
● Lead and mentor a team of analysts, developers, and data engineers
● Promote a data-driven culture through training and collaboration across departments
● Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver custom solutions
● Manage the design and upkeep of data storage systems and pipelines
● Select and implement business intelligence tools to optimize performance and scalability
● Create and maintain dashboards and reports that turn complex data into clear insights for decision-makers
● Automate reporting processes to save time and reduce errors
● Perform detailed data analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
● Support forecasting and predictive modeling to aid strategic planning
● Oversee projects from start to finish, balancing urgent requests with long-term goals
● Communicate results and progress effectively to senior leaders

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
● At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy roles
● Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and data visualization tools
● Solid hands-on experience with Power BI for creating dashboards and reports
● Proven leadership skills in managing BI teams and driving projects to completion
● Good understanding of basic computer operations and programming concepts
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
● Strong communication skills to effectively present insights to stakeholders
● Deep technical knowledge relevant to the business domain and data environment
