Baguio, Philippines Globalland Property Management, Inc. Full time

Accounting operations on public properties. Responsible for accounting functions related to Property management. Will have daily interaction with property managers, property owners, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures accounting records on assigned properties are properly documented on a daily basis
  • Maintaining records of received/due tenantsâ rents and occasionally conducting account reconciliation to verify tenant statements.
  • Conduct research and audits to confirm enquiries regarding tenant statements.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly close for buildings and properties. They also review accounts payable vouchers for maintenance/repair costs.
  • Complete general ledger entries, manage and track all income statements and expenses (cash balances). Usually, they prepare and deliver to accounts payable unitsâ invoices for security deposit refunds.
  • Reviewing account records such as credit memos, non-recurring tenant billings and cash receipts to ensure accurate accounts.
  • Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost.
  • Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
  • Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary.
  • Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time.
  • Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings.
  • Assist the Property management team or other staff accountants with other accounting duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Knowledgeable on financial data analysis
  • Knows how to prepare and analyze operations and financial statistics
  • Ability to reconcile accounts on reported data and with basic understanding of the financial statements and analysis
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • With background in finance, ecommerce and bookkeeping and BSP related reports
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
  • Working days: Monday to Saturday (8:30 am to 5:30 pm)
  • Work Location: BAGUIO CITY
