Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer technical questions related to lubrication from customers.
  • Propose budgets for projects, train new employees, and collaborate with various departments.
  • Prepare reports on the progress of projects for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the commercial team and key stakeholders to ensure engineering needs are met.
  • Translate Engineering Services team objectives into policy and investment propositions.
  • Ensure engineering propositions and programs are translated into detailed targets.
  • Manage, coach, and oversee team members to achieve optimal performance.
  • Strengthen the culture of work maturity, cooperation, and ownership within the team.
  • Initiate improvement projects for customers' operations related to lubrication.
  • Produce and share specific reports, analyses, and evaluations.
  • Administer and manage established Engineering Services programs.
  • Monitor the application of technical and engineering support to customers.
  • Optimize the use of lubrication service programs to grow and maintain high-value product and service sales.
  • Ensure optimum customer retention through diligent implementation of plans and programs.
  • Ensure product and brand integrity compliance at customer locations.
  • Create and utilize key data analytics to improve sales operations and customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate and support ethical business conduct as part of the management team.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/ Chemical or Industrial Engineering

Licensure required.

Other professional certification is a plus.

At least 3 years experience from Lubrication, Mining and Energy particularly in industrial plant operations, or maintenance and 1-2 years Sales experience.

Or minimum of 3-5 years Sales and Technical experience from within the organization may be considered.

Time management; Self-starting; dependability.

Communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, technical reports).

Computer skills (Office and Business applications).

Lube background is an advantage.
