ID8, Inc. is looking for a qualified Community Manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, possess a combination of interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, we would like to meet you. The goal is to build, nurture, and maintain a positive and engaged community around a brand, product, or organization.Â

The Community Managerâs responsibility is focused on building and maintaining positive relationships within a community associated with a brand, product, or organization.Â

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a brandâs online community, online presence and public perception
  • Engage audiences on a variety of outlets, including online forums and social media platforms and respond to comments and queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain consistent tone, messaging, and content across all networks to align the community messaging with the overall PR strategy and organizational goals.
  • Act as a frontline responder during times of crisis or negative incidents within the community.
  • Represent the brand positively and authentically in all community interactions.
  • Provide insights from the community to inform PR strategies and decisions to the team
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including client, marketing, accounts team, and other involved teams
  • Record and report the engagement online for reference on future strategy and communications
  • Maintain and control emotions in order to handle the various issues that arise

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Community Manager, at least 2-3 yearsÂ
  • Excellent knowledge on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok and other social media best practices
  • Medical writing and social media experience &/or medical background a plusÂ
  • Ability to identify and track relevant social media and community KPIs
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing dynamics of the community and industry.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on relevant trends.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to convey information in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet team deadlines
  • Experience in Public Relations or related field is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
