Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in BIM coordination/ team lead or a related role.

Skills:

BIM Coordinator

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and others.Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.Team LeadAble to work independently, multi-task, solve problems, collaborate with colleagues and other staff at all levelsRequired knowledge of the process of design, development, and design documentationExperience with an international design firm (Dubai and/or China) a plusExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsExperienced Supervisor specialized in Architecture/ Interior Design or equivalent in a lead positionResponsibilities:

Model Coordination and Management:

Develop, maintain, and manage project BIM models.Coordinate and integrate models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using BIM software.Standards and Compliance:Ensure adherence to BIM standards and protocols.Develop and enforce BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM requirements.Conduct quality control checks on models to ensure they meet project standards.Collaboration and Communication:Facilitate coordination meetings and BIM workshops with project teams.Act as a point of contact for BIM-related queries and issues.Communicate BIM processes and standards to project stakeholders.Software and Technology:Utilize BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and others.Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and practices.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain BIM documentation, including model development logs, clash reports, and project deliverables.Generate and distribute regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.Project Support:Assist in the development of project schedules and resource allocation plans.Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows.Team LeadResponsible to Project Manager for the day-to-day project design and documentation activities using 3D Modelling tools predominantly with SketchUp and LayoutSupervise the Team Members in the performance of their dutiesOversee the preparation of submissions both to clients and to the HK designersFormulates project approach with Project Manager or Project Coordinator and establish project parametersParticipates in Design Workshops and Presentations; manages day to day design concept/design documentation process consistent with the Project's parametersEnsures that Design and Drafting Policies, Procedures and Standards are followedPreparation of staff appraisalsExchange information and ideas with other building design professionals to add to their pool of knowledge Adhere to company policies, regulations and standards when working with clients and colleagues
