Job Details

A slot game mathematician combines mathematical expertise with creative game design to develop entertaining and profitable slot games that comply with industry regulations and meet player expectations. It's a role that requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of player behavior and market trends in the gaming industry. The ideal candidate must have a passionate about gaming, has a deep understanding of probability and computer science, and is ready to use their skills in both mathematical modelling and game design.

Responsibilities

Mathematical Modelling: Develop mathematical models for slot games to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and provide an entertaining player experience.Probability and RTP Calculation: Calculate the Return to Player (RTP) percentage and ensure games comply with industry standards for fairness and payout.Game Mechanics Design: Design the core mechanics of slot games, including reel layout, symbols, paylines, and bonus features.Statistical Analysis: Analyze data from gameplay simulations and actual player data to optimize game performance and player engagement.Collaboration: Work closely with other game designers, artists and software developers, to bring concepts from initial idea to final implementation.Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor games, and player preferences to create innovative and competitive slot game designs.Testing and Optimization: Conduct rigorous testing and iteration phases to refine game mechanics, balance gameplay, and enhance overall player satisfaction.Skills RequiredStrong Mathematical Background: Proficiency in probability theory, statistics, and game theory.Programming Skills: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or scripting languages used in game development.Creativity: Ability to innovate and create unique game mechanics and features that appeal to players.Analytical Thinking: Capacity to analyze game data and make data-driven decisions to optimize game performance.Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas clearly.Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of gambling regulations and requirements to ensure games meet legal standards.QualificationsA degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field5+ years of experience in a similar role within the gaming industry.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.Previous experience in game design, particularly in slots or casino games, is highly beneficial Job Type: Full-time Pay: Php70, Php90,000.00 per month
