Main responsibilities:

Insights that Create Value:

  • Drive to "so-what's" by making actionable recommendations routed in deep understanding of marketing, business, and consumer via primary research & business analytics.
  • Ability to triangulate knowledge across multiple data sources and come up with clear conclusions.
  • Act as a sounding board for GM during strategic planning cycles (LBEs, LTP and P26Bs) to devise mid/ long term strategy for the affiliate.
  • Lead learning plan development in line and right sized to deliver business strategies and goals.
  • Collaborate with PA MI to constantly challenge the status quo of data provider to improve on data quality as well as continuously improving on the report to provide true business insights behind the performance.

Be a Consumer Champion:

  • Keep the organization in touch with needs, influences and behavior across core consumer segments.
  • Create an innovation rhythm that addresses unmet needs, purchase barriers and is ahead of trends.
  • Champion brand health and equity fundamentals, tracking performance vs. goals.

Collaborate for Business Success:

  • Be flexible and creative to adjust to changing priorities and business challenges. Deal with ambiguity, while showing strong drive for results and project leadership skills
  • Be accountable for business goals identifying share & other topline building opportunities.
  • Identify and enable key business drivers of growth and trial. Enable go-to-market plans to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Champion Revenue Growth Management initiatives for Philippines affiliate, partnering with Area Analytics Director to drive efficiency/ effectiveness of every dollar spent.
  • Lead and align with key stakeholders on quarterly planning cycles: market/share forecast, sale overview, consumption growth model.
  • Partner with PH commercial team to drive commercial outcomes: long term demand planning, innovation, RGM.

Manage Capabilities & Grow Talent:

  • Build Leadership Skills within team – Clear, Credible, Bold & Impactful Communication.
  • Nurture supplier relationships and manage research budget effectively.

Work Experience:

  • At least 10-12 years working experience in Consumer market research, advertising, and/or marketing experience. Cross-functional experience preferred. Consumer Products Goods or Health Products experience desirable
  • Experienced in Primary Market Research including Qualitative and Quantitative including Consumer & HCPs Tracking Studies, Innovation Validation as well as Communication Research
  • Experience in syndicated data such as Nielsen Retail Audit and Kantar Panel
  • Data Analytic experience such as Marketing Mix Modelling, Statistic forecasting (time series / regression analysis), Pricing models.
  • Team Management

Core Skill Requirement:

  • Proficient with innovation and custom research methods, both qualitative and quantitative. Custom research experience to include concept and communication validation, usage & attitudes, market drivers, to brand health tracking
  • Experience leveraging syndicated services (Nielsen Retail Audit and Kantar Panel Data)
  • Strong analytical skills and software skills, including Excel and Power BI (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated track record of managing budgets and external agency partnerships.

  • Ability to lead and partner with multiple stakeholders on key strategic projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can organize and lead cross functional teams
  • Regional exposure preferable.
