As Service Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role supporting the sales team with product demonstrations, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high technology products designed for marine / land survey, commercial & military diving, etc., ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and support.

Job Scope:

  1. To perform the duties of equipment repair & servicing, as per requirements/procedures in a responsible manner. This will include trouble shooting & evaluations.
  2. Prepare quotations based on repair work & trouble shooting done to forward to the customers according to ISO compliances & procedures.
  3. Liaise with principals & customers by email, phone as and when it is necessary to follow-up with job status.
  4. Perform commissioning, installation, system support, offshore operation works of oceanographic, hydrographic, hydrology or other survey instrumentations at customer job sites, on-board vessels, offshore platforms/rigs as and when you are being assigned with short notice provided. This includes Mobilization and Demobilization of equipment from any locations.
  5. For mobilization jobs, ensure all equipment & related accessories/components as per customer order requirements, checked and tested in good order & working conditions.
  6. Involved in the Engineering department with all Mob & Demob and operation of related surveying equipment from any locations, standby as anytime you are required to attend offshore &/or onsite job – always ensure tools, accessories, test equipment, consumables are well prepared.
  7. To assist sales department for customer demonstration on related product/equipment either at the office or on location such as rivers or remote location on board vessels, rigs etc., as and when is necessary.
  8. To assist in system integration/assembly/testing of OEM equipment.
  9. To be able to work independently and use own initiative in the work process, perform according to ISO & OHSAS compliances & procedures.
  10. To report the status of current job list to the Engineering Workshop Manager and/or HOD on a weekly basis.
  11. To always provide suggestions to improve the Engineering workshop to achieve better productivity.
  12. To attend Overseas Factory Training as and when assigned. Qualifications:
  13. Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  14. At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  15. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
  16. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  17. Self-motivated and eager to learn
