The Procurement Engineering & Construction Associate is responsible for sourcing of suppliers/service providers and negotiating contracts for non-catalog items based on the needs of requesting units. He/she is also responsible for adhering to procurement policies and procedures to ensure quality and cost efficiency of sourced items.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive and evaluate purchase requirements raised by requesting units. Clarify details of requests and advise them of revisions, recommended changes, and required documents as needed.Negotiate applicable commercial terms with qualified suppliers, service providers, and contractorsPrepare and endorse initial recommendation for canvass reports on new, non-catalog, or tendered itemsFacilitate and assist in the whole tender process and ensure satisfactory delivery and fulfillment of requirementsCoordinate and endorse with related P&L unit the accreditation of newly qualified suppliers, service providers or contractorsPrepare and route subject contracts and agreements for approval of authorized signatoriesContact vendors to follow up requisitions, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with business unit's requirementsMonitor and ensure compliance of supplier, service provider, or contractor to terms and conditions and implement corrective measures for any breachFacilitate and endorse for review contracts and agreements approaching culminationSecure feedback from requesting units to ensure continuous supplier improvement QUALIFICATIONSCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree preferably in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing EngineeringHas familiarity with contracts management and legal terminologiesProficient in English, both verbal and in writing.Adept in computer-related applications (Microsoft Office & G-Suite)
